The Anna Lindh Foundation is a network of organizations dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue in the Mediterranean region. It was established in 2005 and is based in Alexandria, Egypt.

It is a foundation established within the European Union and collaborates with the Council of Europe, the League of Arab States, and the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly, among others.

The Foundation works to combat extremist discourse and radicalization, ensure a more inclusive society, and build a community based on dialogue.

This initiative, CELEBRATING THE MEDITERRANEAN, is promoted by the Anna Lindh Foundation. To this end, 25 countries in the Mediterranean Eurozone will hold free concerts in their localities, in collaboration with local organizations and administrations.

AIFED, as a member of this network of networks, is participating in this initiative thanks to the collaboration of Peña la Platería, the Granada Chamber Choir, and the Granada City Council.
