Educating adult learners through the use of Storytelling can help to promote the social inclusion of adults with disabilities, refugees, prisoners, addicts, and women. Storytelling is a non-formal educational method based on narrating a series of stories to each group to stimulate reflection, self-recognition, and personal development. Listening to stories provokes greater brain activation compared to other reading methods, which fosters a deeper connection with the listener’s personal experiences.
The Stories for Empowerment project has been designed to foster the personal development of participants and contribute to their social inclusion and active citizenship, thus justifying its implementation.
The main objectives of the project are:
To support and enhance the work of adult educators working with marginalized adults
To activate empowerment processes in the target groups
To build a shared European methodology for working with the Storytelling method
To provide operational working tools
To get to know European cultures through traditional Storytelling
The project will start on 01/11/2023 and will have a duration of 24 months, thus ending on 31/10/2025.
The project will be divided into 3 work packages:
Work Package 1 – Project Management
Work Package 2 – Selection and production of new stories and E-book
Work Package 3 – LMS Platform and Card Game
Each work package contains a different set of activities that will ensure the achievement of the objectives mentioned above.

(Greece) offers courses and support programs for people with disabilities in
Kavala. Their aim is to provide skills, psychological support and employment
opportunities to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in the
community.
LINC SCS ONLUS
Is a non-profit social cooperative operating in the field of
community psychology. It was born from the meeting of a social cooperative
and an association and together they operate for planning with the community.
Linc takes care of project planning in all its phases, including for European
projects, following the partners every step of the way: from the search for offers
to the realization of the project and its evaluation.
