Workplace learning: what can we learn from each other. We have started the project

Workplace learning: what can we learn from each other approved by the National Agency of Belgium with the number 2018-1-BE02-KA202-046830, and coordinated by our colleagues from vzw Katholiek Onderwijs Vlaanderen

Institutions from Belgium, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Estonia and Portugal participate in this project

On November 12 to 14, 2018, we developed the first exchange of good practices in Brussels where the first training assistants worked around the PEER Evaluation concept, answering the following questions;

Getting connected: Introduction to the working method PEER EVALUATION

- What do you mean by peer evaluation? What is it/what is it not?

- What can be the added value of your participation in a peer evaluation?

- Do you already have experience with this method?

The main goal of this project is to professionalise teachers, trainers and mentors in VET by exchanging good examples of practice with regard to the use and implementation of workplace learning in their curricula. In this context, we want to pay special attention to the possibilities that we do not use today to facilitate access to this 'new' form of learning for specific target groups. In this project we consider all the separate parts that are part of workplace learning starting with the development of a network of companies with which we want to collaborate in function of the diversity of the learners, to evaluate and validate the knowledge and skills that they have learned in the workplace. The common thread throughout the entire process is the guidance / coaching of the learners by all those involved and the quality development throughout the process.

Looking forward to attending the next meeting in Solingen, Germany in January!
