The partners met for the first time to celebrate the Kick Off Meeting of the project. We started the day with a welcoming ceremony and introduction of the participants and partnerships.
There was an interesting discussion about the state of the art of the project implementation. This was followed by a wonderful guided tour of the ancient town of Ascoli Piceno: a living example of "Sustainability as an art... of resilience" and of SDG 11 "building sustainable communities" over the centuries.
The consortium participated in an exchange of good practices. An interactive session led by the project coordinator, with presentations from all participants on the following:
- The challenges/opportunities we are currently facing as a consequence of the COVID19 pandemic, especially with regard to adult education/lifelong learning activities.
- How "resilience literacy" can be useful in reorienting previous training.
- Equipping staff members to improve and/or upgrade their professional and human competencies, also in relation to environmental sustainability and art.
- Ongoing activities to support resilience of staff, learners and other target groups (employability, behavioural changes in terms of individual preferences, cultural values, awareness and active engagement).
We also worked on the roadmap for the next stages of the exchange of good practices and carried out the planning of the 2nd and 3rd transnational meetings of the project, in Granada (Spain) and Athens (Greece).
Finally, the certificates of attendance, farewell and end of the work days.
It has been a pleasure and we hope to meet again very soon!!!!
